The Indian Wolf is mainly distributed across the Indian states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Its relatively small size allows it to survive on the smaller ungulates, rabbits, hares, and rodents that roam its territory.
